      @ZackPolanski So short is the memory of man, and so strong is the flame of pleasure derived from violence.
      Again, men came to power with promises to fix the working people’s problems, but delivered nothing.
      Again, to hide that they didn’t, they’re offering quick hits of dopamine in the form of bombs and explosions as panacea.
      But it’s never enough. You need bigger bombs and explosions to keep you distracted from your lot in life not getting any better!

            @ZackPolanski I remember watching this from across the pond, having just gotten out of the US Navy and working for a DOD contractor.

            It stuck. Seeing it again after almost 30 years... wow.
