    I still don't understand the US war on Iran. They declared war, then said it wasn't a war, then it was, then it wasn't, then it was, then declared victory, said Iran's military was totally disabled.. and now they're begging for help from the rest of the world as things keep getting blown up?

    Like - what is the plan here?

    There's not point asking the UK for help, we probably sold all our boats to Lidl.

    @GossiTheDog
    I mean you understand the situation as much as anyone.

    Almost certainly including everyone in the white house who has access to the nuclear launch codes.

    Horrifying thought, isn't it.

      @GossiTheDog There is no plan. The orange terror is simply flapping around, causing immesurable harm in pursuit of something to distract from his previous crimes.

          @GossiTheDog They (US) have to claim it's not a war because if it is a war then it's against the US constitution. Congress had no say in it.

          But the fact of the matter is, it s a war, and it is thus against the US constitution.

            @GossiTheDog The plan was to bomb Iran. Everything after that is being handled as it arises. There was basically no forethought beyond "if we bomb them, we win!”

            @GossiTheDog Honestly, I think the orange dipshit is completely confused by the fact that we bombed them, killed their leader, and they're still fighting back. I don't think he can comprehend it when there is resistance to what he wants.

              @GossiTheDog Hyperreal strategic ambiguity… or maybe total incompetence or a mixture of both… Just a guess from me… Maybe the empire is falling, and this was a last attempt to portray the power of the empire while handing everything over to the new power in the east… or maybe the owners of the US wanted to destabilize the world to legitimize an emergency coup d'état inside the US… due to strategic destabilization of the world…

                As far as I can see they've assassinated the leader of Iran and his whole family, except his son, then got his very angry son elected as leader... then declared victory and said it's over?

                @GossiTheDog someone criticized the press recently, saying that if they are still trying to present logical reasons for Trump's actions, that itself is an irrational behavior.

                It's all so sad. And I feel as a US citizen I have no control over it. We picked up this this phrase "sane washing" but never solved the problem.

                The irrational drive policy, and the irrational justify it.

                    @GossiTheDog i think the plan is to bomb anywhere for the sake of bombing, in an effort to start a new global war. you can probably safely bet there's some Evangelist bullshit about triggering rapture involved.

                      @GossiTheDog

                      From what I can work out, Israel coerced the US into joining them in attacking Iran, which was to be followed by Plan A: US- and Israel-loving Iranian people rising up to remove the regime and install a Western-backed Iranian Monarch.

                      Plan B was to call on the Kurds to rise up and remove the regime....

                      Plan C seems to be to call on NATO countries to risk civil war at home to join the US and Israel in a medieval-style religious Crusade.

                        @GossiTheDog there is no plan. Trump simply wanted to prevent the press from looking too much at the Epstein files, which is why I find it extraordinarily funny that the name of the operation in the Internet was announced to be "Epstein Fury" 🤣

                          @GossiTheDog there's no plan, only concepts of a plan.
                          Now on a more serious note, they don't know because their handlers (Thiel, Putin, Netanyahu, etc.) haven't told them yet.

                          Note that only the US Congress needs to be distracted for the plan to be successful.

                          As I understand it, the Israeli PM has similar goals

                                    I still don't understand the US war on Iran. They declared war, then said it wasn't a war, then it was, then it wasn't, then it was, then declared victory, said Iran's military was totally disabled.. and now they're begging for help from the rest of the world as things keep getting blown up?

                                    Like - what is the plan here?

                                    There's not point asking the UK for help, we probably sold all our boats to Lidl.

                                    @GossiTheDog There is no plan. There are only greed and the inability to delay gratification.

                                    Starting a war with Iran without being ready to commit your navy, the most powerful in the world, to safeguard oil prices is a pathetic failure and that's what the Americans just did.

                                    As their political situation is getting more and more dire, both Bibi and Trump are drifting away from reality and into magical thinking of glorious victories, costs be damned.

                                      As far as I can see they've assassinated the leader of Iran and his whole family, except his son, then got his very angry son elected as leader... then declared victory and said it's over?

                                      @GossiTheDog my theory is that trump saw it as a get rich quick scheme that went out of hand.

                                      They take Venezuela's oil, to prepare for this war. They start a war, knowing the price of oil would skyrocket. And just like in 2008, they figured they would capitalize on that, while also giving lockheed, raytheon, and every other military industrial complex power free money. Then whoever they'd appoint for civil infrastructure replacement would earn a fat contract, we'd sit on it for years like we did last time, until the president needs a PR boost, pull out, and destabilize the region again.

                                      So, they start a fight with Iran, fail to realize that the straight is crippling the global economy, ours included, because we rely on global trade, even with the other oil they stole, and are finding out that Iran has been ready for a protracted war for a very long time.

                                      I feel like my theory holds weight, because Trump walked into the middle east with no plan according to several sources, and now that Iran is doing a pretty good job of fighting back and spamming cheap drones everywhere, destroying even more regional infrastructure, he's realized he's fucked up. Nobody wants to go back to the sandbox again, which is why all of his former allies are telling us to go fuck ourselves. Rightly so.

                                        @GossiTheDog No no no, they went short and now collected their Billions on Stock Exchange. For them it's over now, the remaining fallout can now be handled by others.

                                          TL;DR: Everything looks simple when you're an idiot and don't understand how anything works.
