    Crazy how low #electricity prices are on the EU market today (deeply in the negative): this just shows how #renewables can drive down prices.

    If we keep a bit of nuclear and get the hang of energy storage and transmission, we can have cheap, carbon-free electricity continent-wide.

        @jmaris Nuclear is not cheap and the waste issue is still not solved.

        Solar is cheap as f*** but landlords have no interest in putting them up, as they don't have to pay for energy. Tenants do but aren't allowed to install bigger ones.

        First we need storage and better transmission infrastructure and in addition to that keep adding cheap solar on nearly every roof.

        In summary still way cheaper than going forward with nuclear.
