It’s following a predetermined instruction using training data from human chat interactions as guideline. So this is basically our own ghosts coming to haunt us.

I just felt the need to point that out, bc in the thread the OP was referencing, people were treating the bot, engaging with it, as if it was a living being. And I found that disturbing. This mess is the results of techbros getting way too high on their own supply and starting to hallucinate in a way even AI can’t manage at its worst.
