@skinnylatte when i was pretty young (i guess i was 8 or so) someone i knew had an apartment on the hudson river (jersey side) and i Loved looking at new york from the windows at night, i would turn the lights off and watch it for a while sometimes. this reminds me of that

For about 6 months we had an apartment just west of Hoboken with a great view of Manhattan. I've watched it like that, too
