    I recently noticed a while ago that my bookmark started to store a link with org-protocol
    in #Emacs #orgmode overrides the current page.

    In case someone else comes to a similar issue:
    old: javascript:location.href='org-protocol://store-link?' + new URLSearchParams({url:location.href, title:document.title});
    new: javascript:(function(){location.href='org-protocol://store-link?' + new URLSearchParams({url:location.href, title:document.title})})();

      @thaodan Can you explain how and where you use this? What is org-protocol?

        @skaphle You can use it to trigger actions from other
        programs in Emacs. I recommend the Org-mode manual on it:
        https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/org/Protocols.html

        Best open it in Emacs for better viewing experience:
        (info "(org) Protocols")
