            @Lstn2urmama

            mother's day in uk sunday.

            Mother’s Day is different in the UK and Canada because they stem from different traditions: the UK celebrates the religious "Mothering Sunday" (fourth Sunday of Lent), while Canada follows the secular North American tradition (second Sunday in May). The UK date shifts annually with Easter, while Canada's date is fixed.

                  Mothering Sunday in the UK is a4th-century Christian tradition, held on the 4th Sunday of Lent, originally focused on visiting one’s "mother church" (the main cathedral or baptismal parish) rather than mothers. It was a rare day off for domestic servants to return home, blending into a celebration of mothers and nature by the 20th century.

                      @Lstn2urmama

                      i saw her on Thursday and gave her a card.

                      we used to make them at school.

                      it was fun.

                      we used crepe paper to make flowers and glued them on.

                      i love the smell of that glue.

                      it must be so weird giving birth and seeing how they turn out.

                      i still can't believe my friend who is now a nurse is the same person i saw when she was born.

                      she is my ex's niece.

                          i think art was the only thing i liked at primary school, apart from recess and sharpening pencils.

                          god life was simple and so much fun back then.

                          why do greedy old men ruin it for everyone else?

                                    agreed, the entire system has been corrupted.

                                    and a voting block is ok with child rape and murder.

                                    hopefully trump and his ilk will auto destruct.

                                    β€œThe so-called paradox of freedom is the argument that freedom in the sense of absence of any constraining control must lead to very great restraint, since it makes the bully free to enslave the meek. The idea is, in a slightly different form, and with very different tendency, clearly expressed in Plato.

                                    Less well known is the paradox of tolerance: Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. β€” In this formulation, I do not imply, for instance, that we should always suppress the utterance of intolerant philosophies; as long as we can counter them by rational argument and keep them in check by public opinion, suppression would certainly be unwise. But we should claim the right to suppress them if necessary even by force; for it may easily turn out that they are not prepared to meet us on the level of rational argument, but begin by denouncing all argument; they may forbid their followers to listen to rational argument, because it is deceptive, and teach them to answer arguments by the use of their fists or pistols. We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant. We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law, and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal, in the same way as we should consider incitement to murder, or to kidnapping, or to the revival of the slave trade, as criminal.”

                                      Problem is that the criminal has not only taken family into one of the largest sanctuary to have many more doing his bidding and remove those who had value to all others and the standard experience to make sure he was surrounded by more idiots ...

                                      Very GREAT thing is the WISDOM of EVERYONE outside that sanctuary to be ABLE to have a SAY if they should move forward further into the shadows OR THEY WANT to be RELEASED from people able to

                                      steal things,money, land for THEMSELVES and ONLY for the FEW CHOSEN

                                      VOTE FOR DEMOCRACY FOR EVERYONE and an EASIER LIFE with prices lower and the ABILITY to have WHAT is YOURS is YOURS and get MORE 🚨
