In case you're thinking that means that a majority disapprove? Nope! 4% are "Not sure." Only 46% disapprove.

Some of y'all really believed that the percent of white people that support ethnic cleansing would drop lower

️.In October it was 50%.
Who wants to bet if it will be closer to 51% or 47% in July?
🧙
️That's +2% or -2% from 49%.

Adding to this .... Hispanic approval rising since the Fall (and over 30% total!) is wild.

Unfortunately, yes they do. The only state with more Trump voters, is Texas. Most of the people that support Trump's ethnic cleansing policies live in big cities in Texas, California, and Florida.
I interact with them every day.

Imagine these 4 men are servers at a restaurant. White diners don't notice a difference🤷🏿♂️

@mekkaokereke Not surprised about the whites but hispanics? He does not care if you like him, he wants you out. It doesn't matter if you got here "the right way" or you were born here. He wants you in a domestic concentration camp or some place likely unrelated to your ancestral country. We are currently dealing with MAGA hispanics trying to shift the conversation to bike lanes and traffic as a coverup after fawning over ICE shortly before their attacks here in Chicago. This timeline sucks.

Yep, and having lived in California for over 30 years, I can assure you that there are plenty of Trump supporters living in this state.

Always surprising: half of all Hispanic people in the US, are white.

@cwicseolfor@urbanists.social @mloxton@med-mastodon.com Here's the ironic thing: the US is not even getting less white as fast as they claim. 🤷🏿♂️ Because they're counting "Non-hispanic white," but not "Hispanic white." "Non-Hispanic white" + "Hispanic white" is still ~70% of the US population. One way to visualize this: imagine entering a room with a hundred people. Now imagine trying to visually categorize the people into Black, white, hispanic, Asian or indigenous. You might visually categorize about 60 people as white. But about 10 of those white presenting people will be Hispanic. Some of the most popular actors and athletes of all time are Hispanic white. If you didn't know their names, or family history, most people in the US would categorize these celebrities as white. @mekkaokereke @Nochem
To be fair, that's largely because there are so many people in those cities. Most large cities, regardless of geography, trend blue. -
