The Enlightenment did more for the idea of America than the Bible.Of course if you do not believe me, you got the Bible online, search for yourself.
@softspeak @Strandjunker Learning about the biblical stance on slavery is a large part of what drove me to Atheism. Well that and working for the catholics.
