They’re either nihilists or they’re the dumbest human beings ever to exist.
And don’t come at me with how they can protect themselves with billionaire stockpiles. You can’t hide from our planet’s fury, no matter how much money you have. The only difference is that you’ll maybe have a more comfotable commute to the end of the human race.

@markwyner just to point out that nihilism is the philosophical counterpart of, well, reality. It denies the objective existence of social constructs such as deities, good or evil, etc. Nothing about nihilism condones criminal behaviour such as exhibited by the current regime. Nihilism, like science, tries to see the world as it is, rather than as we would like it to be.

@markwyner There is nihilism, but I think that they enjoy the death cult aspect. So if they enjoy it, they're probably not strictly speaking (?) nihilists?
