This is the first step to de-funding public transit and making riders pay 100% of the cost (while private motoring remain subsidized)

@evdelen My thought was that they would set fares that would be too low for certain municipalities, and when it brings some transit agency to the breaking point, they would use that as an excuse to take control of the agency, like they've done with school boards.
