You know what I miss?

@krinslife You might like #ThreeGoodThings
I was going to suggest ThreeGoodThings too. I guess that's the most general one.
Of course there's millions of specific topics hashtags, things that people make like drawing, photography, 3dprinting, maps, books, woodworking, cooking, writing, metalworking, and things that people recommend. Try reading, film, etc. And I agree that it's all in who and what you follow. My feed is like half full of people saying look what I made, look what I found, look what I saw, look what I read, look what I learned. If you don't see enough of that, keep adding accounts and hashtags, it's all out there already!
There's more people with their own individual hashtags like you suggested. I just don't know who to recommend, it's very individual.
And you might like # MakersHour

@dasgrueneblatt @ArtseaGardener
Agreed, as a maker, I almost certainly will enjoy # MakersHour, celebrating other's joy in creating things is amongst the things I enjoy most. Thanks for the recommendation. -
@krinslife @ipsquiggle I know there are others but my brain isn't working, @vlrny do you know which ones I'm forgetting? The hashtags for sharing something cool you just found and want to share? Besides joinin? I know I've come across some.

@secretsloth @krinslife @ipsquiggle
Haha I think the problem with fedi is there's so much sharing of "cool thing I liked" it's all broken into subcategories. Like #mosstodon #visibleMending #retroComputing etc...
#magicInTheMundane might be close to the vibe.
I also do a @joybooster account where boost a lot of stuff with people just nerding out about stuff that makes them happy.Edit: adding #oneCoolThing tag suggested. Eg:
One cool thing this week...
One cool thing about [nerdy hobby]... -
You know what I miss? Real humans sharing cool stuff they admire with other humans, not just allowing the feed to hopefully serve it up to you.
I'm thinking about a weekly "cool thing I liked" post. Think song, video, book, article, art, etc.
Is there a Mastodon hashtag for this? Still finding my way in this subculture.
There is the #3GoodThings hashtag
I also like following @joybooster for a good variety of cool posts

@krinslife @VisualStuart we totally need a hashtag for this.

@krinslife sometimes people share cool things they liked on the #Today hashtag.

@krinslife
Dunno about weekly/planned posts. But whenever there is something that grabbed your interest, from a little casual joy to some happening, posting about it (somewhere that day) with #today is a good way to go. That hashtag has a nice combination of all kinds of random stuff from all kinds of people. -

@krinslife #TIL can be interesting. I’ve found some amazing crafts people using #handmade
