@evacide I was asked a while back, how often do you need to wash that shirt, you wear it all the time? and I said, firstly I've got three of them, identical, and secondly the reason I have three is that it's a shirt that magically doesn't need ironing and so I love it

@evacide and also stops me from buying anything that says "lay flat to dry." Where am I supposed to find space for that?

@acesabe @sil @evacide It was a philosophy started by Steve Jobs. If what you wear every day is the same, then you don't have to waste time and energy trying to decide what to wear.

@evacide You want Ublock Wardrobe. It let's you load filter lists for particular fashion trends or functions, and, write custom regex filters for items to exclude.

@evacide 100% this. Make 60% of your wardrobe stuff that doesn’t require ironing because ironing belongs to the devil: fully supportive. Give up on looking nice in favour of washing convenience and nothing else: please try to rediscover beauty so you can enjoy your life at least a little bit

@Avitus @acesabe @sil @evacide I wouldn’t really credit him. Monks were doing “where the same thing every day so you don’t waste time on thinking about clothes” long before him. They just disagreed about what you ought to spend the saved time on (God).

@evacide Just type in “the 70’S”.

                            You’ll find your clothes there.

Sadly, Zuck wasted his energy conjuring up the #Metaverse.

He ahould have spent the time on wardrobe.

@sil @Avitus @acesabe I understand that there are people who have a strictly utilitarian attitude towards clothing, but I am one of those weirdos who cares a lot about clothes as an expression of my personal style. I just don't want to do so much ironing of what are, honestly, not the highest quality dresses.
