@timbray @douglascrockford happy birthday JSON! I’ve always pictured the JSON mascot in the style of JavaScript’s mascot—complete with a cheeky mustache—and the flag with "JSON" instead of "JS". Maybe it even has a different color than the yellow of JavaScript’s mascot or the green of Lisp’s mascot.

What percentage of network traffic is JSON over HTTP? I mean, by volume probably relatively little but by request count it’s gotta be up there.
HTTP is the carcinisation of protocols and JSON is the carcinisation of data serialization formats (‘cause the meteor took out XML).
