            @mrundkvist Video games, particularly game engines like DICE’s Frostbite. Anything realtime, really.

              Sounds like a job that it would be difficult to farm out to machine learning, unless you let the thing brute-force optimisation by making 2 000 000 random changes and evaluting them...

                @mrundkvist Probably! I’d imagine a lot of hand-tuning and good architecture is in order. Haven’t worked with it myself, I should add.

                  @mrundkvist High frequency trading. They're optimizing harder than any other industry I know.
