        @Nicovel0 @babe That happened at the steelworks in Sheerness some time in the 1990s, except that rod was at a temperature somewhere between 500 and 700 Celsius and the guy pulled it out with his bare hands.

                @babe I just hit the Random button wikipedia for laughs sometimes. Found out weird ye ancient term for STI clinic/hospital which even had folk songs mentioning it

                Also I keep these sorts of things in a commonplace book - writing things out longhand is hard but it sticks the information in my brain better
