@babe ok I don't have any articles to add to your list but reading one of the ones someone else contributed taught me that there are sea cucumbers that breathe through bladders in their ass, and furthermore these organs sometimes become inhabited by worms, fish or crabs, not as parasites but simply residents, who then emerge daily via the cucumber's anus 😳

@babe this one is a personal favourite because every blue link will send you spiralling down another blue link rabbithole to find yourself learning about the obvious, like how planes (should) work to entirely fascinating tangentially related stuff like tourism in Antarctica or perceptive illusions

What are some of your favourite wikipedia articles and why?

I'm looking for some rabbit holes to go scuttling down

@babe I just hit the Random button wikipedia for laughs sometimes. Found out weird ye ancient term for STI clinic/hospital which even had folk songs mentioning it
                                          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Lock_Hospital

Also I keep these sorts of things in a commonplace book - writing things out longhand is hard but it sticks the information in my brain better
                                          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonplace_book (it's like a personal encylopedia)
