@babe ok I don't have any articles to add to your list but reading one of the ones someone else contributed taught me that there are sea cucumbers that breathe through bladders in their ass, and furthermore these organs sometimes become inhabited by worms, fish or crabs, not as parasites but simply residents, who then emerge daily via the cucumber's anus
