Today marks the 12th anniversary of the tragic events at the Trade Union House in Odesa.
At that time, clashes between pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian activists, as well as a fire in the building, resulted in the deaths of about 50 people, with approximately 250 more injured.
That day remains one of the darkest chapters in Odesa’s history and, at the same time, the moment when the city defended its right to remain Ukrainian.
