@kottke I saw Go, The Red Violin, Run Lola Run, and Ever After. At least, those are the ones I recall having to go out of my way to find in an indie theater to see when new.

@kottke I watched Pulp Fiction in a $1 theater based on Tarantino's name alone. Wasn't even listed in Now Showing. Had never heard of it. Loved it so much that I went back and took a friend the same day. Gathered a group of friends to go see it the next day and it was gone from the theater, like a ghost.

3 months later it opened nationwide.
