    @revk I certainly can't claim either credit or blame for this one 🙂

      I sometimes wonder what my parents did to pass the time before they had the Internet.

      I asked my 17 brothers and sisters, and they didn't know either.

      @neil But you reposted it, so you should take the blame for that!😛

        @neil I remember spending a lot of time outside digging in the dirt. Which sounds terrible, but I enjoyed it.

            @neil
            My mother used to bake bread in a traditional clay oven.
            My siblings and I would play on the red swing, laughing without a care in the world
            In the afternoon, we would watch a calm, beautiful cartoon—nothing like the noisy, overwhelming videos of today،،
            The biggest thing we did online was talk to our brother abroad on Skype.
            Those were truly beautiful days simple, warm, and full of peace🤍

              @neil That's a terrible question. Don't you have anyone who can answer it for you?

                @neil Books, TV, radio, phone calls with friends, crafts, board games, solitair, baking bread and such. There is a whole bunch of stuff my parents instilled in me to go do, even when computers also exist.

                Still like getting up to these except TV and radio amusingly.

                      @FrugalGamer @neil I once read an article saying that the top 4 toys of all time are dirt, rocks, sticks, and water. No commercials, no tie in cartoons, but every kid instinctively plays with them, and always have, when given the chance.
