1/2 If we can consider, briefly, that the US action in Venezuela & Iran might not be the sloppy result of morons being in charge - but instead the result of greedy, malleable sociopaths being in charge...
The goal may in fact be to seize full control of the global oil supply, and in turn allow Russia & the US to put the EU in a chokehold, to the exclusive benefit of those closely allied with Trump (Big Oil & Big Tech) & Putin.

2/2 I find it extremely odd that despite repeated attacks on other regional oil producers by Iran, none of them - particularly those with significant military capabilities - are attacking Iran in response...possibly because they may be partners or beneficiaries of Putin & Trump's indirect war on Europe.
Note: If there is anything to this, Canada will be on the menu sooner rather than later.

@juliehuz Pehaps...but the mainstream media consensus - that they are inept and careening from mishap to mishap, instead of deliberately (if awkwardly) working towards specific goals might be letting them off the hook far too easily.
I think the public reaction might be very different to reporting that they are intentionally creating chaos & carnage for the benefit of a select few.

@dcdeejay Media adheres, generally, to the same precepts that most Capitalism roots - profit first. Ethics are secondary measures - even human lives/future generations are at stake.
Communism is just as restrictive. This is why Democratic Socialism is now on the rise, countering the reemergence of authoritarian autocracies around the globe. It's the 'sustainable middle' that most subconsciously support, because we ARE mostly a middle-range. It's really simple physics, at root. You don't need to have an advanced degree in Behavioral Science to be able to scale physics to interconnected, human behavioral ranges.
