@Trilobyter Pardon my ignorance but what are the lines of buoys for going out from the shore? boats? swimmers? sharks? all of the above?

@Lizette603_23 I didn’t see anyone/anything using it but I know on the Costa Brava above Barcelona they have little passenger ferries that go up and down the coast stopping at different beaches with similar buoy lines marking their approach & landing spots and to keep other boats & swimmers out, so I assume that’s what these are for.

@Trilobyter ah, that makes a lot of sense. The perspective is only gained when zooming in....much more vast than first glance suggests by the eye. Thanks!
