Piazza Enghelab è gremita, come nel giorno dei funerali di Khamenei. il Consiglio di coordinamento per la propagazione islamica dell'Iran ha invitato la popolazione a radunarsi "simultaneamente in tutto il Paese".

Thousands of people gathered in Tehran for the “declaration of allegiance” to the new Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, chosen as the successor to his father, Ali Khamenei, who was killed on the first day of the Israeli-American military operation on February 28th. Enghelab Square was packed, as it was during Khamenei’s funeral. The Coordinating Council for the Propagation of Islamic Revolution in Iran invited the population to gather “simultaneously throughout the country.”
