Seven Billion Reasons for Facebook to Abandon its Face Recognition Plans

Meta’s analysis that it can avoid scrutiny by releasing a privacy invasive product during a time of political crisis is craven and morally bankrupt. It is also dead wrong.

@evacide Mark apparently has money to burn what with all those previous settlements on facial recognition...what's 7BN more? It's not like it's coming out of his personal deposit accounts.
Now THAT'S an idea...not a corporate fine but an intensely personal fine on ALL the management team members responsible for implementing this .

For ruthless Rulers it is ok to surveil the masses for dissent and then repress them.

People continue to pay Fuckerberg and this is the result of what he's capable of. Pure corruption.
He was a friend of Epstien, come on people!
