    Kent County Council has raised £84 million by selling property over the past five years, it has been revealed.

    The authority made £27 million alone in 2025-26, #Reform UK’s first year in charge, and is on course to achieve another £17 million in the next 12 months

    But once it's gone it's gone for good

      @Geri

      I would rephrase that: KCC converted £84 million worth of public assets to cash which it is now disbursing to it's mates in return for outsourced services.

            @kate @Geri Adult social care at a guess - that's an endless unaffordable money pit for county councils. None of it will have been "wasted" of course because Reform promised to end "waste".
