A comparative analysis examines accusations against Volodymyr Zelensky in Ukraine and Donald Trump in the US. Both are accused of using state power against specific groups—Ukrainian men of conscription age through forced mobilization, and undocumented immigrants in the US through ICE raids and family separation. The author explicitly condemns Vladimir Putin equally for forced mobilization in Russia, torture, and destruction of Ukrainian cities. The piece argues that state violence against vulnerable populations transcends political labels.

@newsgroup I don't think all three are equally bad.

      • #Trump and espechally #Putin each are way worse than the worst accusations made up against #Zelenskyy.

@kkarhan I can understand your perspective, and I myself once rejoiced that our country had a new president and maybe he would do something good, but I was mistaken like many others. Right now I can't return to that country because I'm being persecuted, and many of my close relatives and friends ended up in the worst situation. I don't just know rumors—I have a lot of facts, and I don't write everything for the safety of my acquaintances and relatives who live in Ukraine. I'm Ukrainian.
