Loved this (boosted by @swampgas). Went looking for more. Saw a lot of beautiful (but quite homoerotic) paintings. Wondered if Kampf was queer. Couldn't find out but saw he hung out with Max Liebermann - I momentarily shortcircuited and wondered how the internets Mr Fediverse 2025 @maxleibman had breached the reality barrier and gotten out of Mastodon and into Wikipedia as a 19th century impressionist painter. And because I am a #BoostGoose, I had to look to see if Max Liebermann had ever painted any geese which, pleasingly, he had! Which is how we find ourselves at this point with me replying to you with a picture of some geese from 154 years ago!
