@cmconseils "The transition from small hunter-gatherer societies into complex civilizations gave rise to the first Axial Age. Today, the planetary polycrisis of climate chaos, mass migration, increasing warfare and transformative AI represents a rupture of comparable magnitude" according to Otto Scharmer in Noema magazine.

@cmconseils Yahoo! It's why I left Substack. It kept getting worse. Lies went reported and appeared to be untouched. No people for support left so did I.

@cmconseils Needs one more panel at the end where the company blames the customers after it all goes wrong.

@Herefordrob @cmconseils Mass migrations, Immigrant Crisis are caused by sanctions and wars being forced on to those people ! Like the Embargo on Cuba and the US/NATO and it's allies bombing Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Israel constantly bombing it's neighbours !!

I am missing the last panel where the "strategists" and "product designers" behind the idea in panel 2 complain about the unjustified hostility from the user community, insist that "a stick is only a tool" and predict dire consequences in the style of "China will achieve world domination before us with stick enabled bicycles".

Nice cartoon, but the analogy seems a little off. I don't think it's the bike rider who pushes the AI s/w stick into the bicycle wheel spokes. It's more like that scene in Breaking Away.

The Hoosier rube from Bloomington surprises the visiting Italian cycling team by keeping up with them. One of the Italians fixes that by poking a stick into his spokes. Most businesses, especially big ones, react to competition the same way.
