I participated an art discussion session with my fellow artists today, and the highlight was viewing the installation art by one of the participants. It's a house entirely built with cardboards!
As much as I was impressed by her build skills, I always have a hard time relating to "installation art," including this one. But that's the whole point of being in a critique group -- being exposed to a different kind of art. Everything is a learning opportunity.

A lady came in to say she really enjoyed my paintings over the years, and that she'd miss me. She might get one of my paintings because she was nice to me! See how that works in my world?
