@ww really? damn... I know of 1 in this home, and someone thought that was low.

Maybe it's me, I'm the anomaly

@dee whoops forgot about bathroom mirror too. We really only have one “dedicated” mirror—a small one in our front hallway. Otherwise they’re built-in: outer door of wardrobe, in the hall tree, bathroom medicine chest.

@dee 1 in the bathroom, 1 in the hallway in front of the entrance door, 1 in the living room (to make it look bigger, i think. i don't really like it, but it's useful, being the only mirror i can see lower than my waist). then 1 desk mirror for skincare/makeup, 1 folding pocket mirror i take with me and 1 mirror on the back of my hairbrush, which i don't use anymore now that i have a desk mirror. i want to replace the desk mirror with one with led lights, so there's gonna be 7 somewhat soon.

dunno, i don't know what i would do without the hallway and bathroom mirrors. like, i wanna be able to make sure my hair looks good after i put on my shoes, and when washing my face, especially after brushing teeth..

@dee Our bedroom closet has mirror doors which really helps when you're getting dressed. Mirrors in both bathrooms, I also have 5x makeup mirror because otherwise I can't apply mascara (I recommend the ones with lights, it helps). There are some decor mirrors because the house is really dark and it helps making it brighter.

I found out the cat has learned what a mirror is and likes to observe my reflection in the mirrors. She has interacted with mirrors before in a way it meant she knew the image was coming from somewhere else and I thought it was so cute ❤

@dee Depends if you count inside the bathroom cabinet door as well as outside, and any of the small hand-held or free-standing. For anything larger than about 10cm, it's 2 bathroom cabinets (one bathroom, one cloakroom). At the old house, I went through a phase of covering the one in the cloakroom in bubble wrap so I didn't have to see myself. For small mirrors, I've got one compact, one small free-standing ... I guess it's a make-up mirror? It's double-sided and one side magnifies. It used to be my mum's. I've also got a palm-sized one she gave me for self-inspection post-surgery.

@dee does a mirror closet door with two panels that slide open (in front of or behind the other) count as one or two?
