@efoltin @georgetakei are those rights guaranteed to you in the constitution? Do you have the right to drink alcohol, is there an amendment granting you the right to smoke tobacco? What one gives you the fundamental right to operate a motor vehicle? The 15th amendment makes a voter ID illegal, until you can state what one grants you those others maybe shut the hell up.

@passwordsarehard4 @efoltin @georgetakei That the 15th Amendment makes voter ID illegal is as false as the claim that it's not currently required.

@crazyeddie @passwordsarehard4 @georgetakei Could you please quote the section where it makes it illegal. I read the 15th amendment and I don’t see anything that says. That voter ID is illegal. Please educate me. And buying alcohol is in the constitution 21st amendment. Let us buy alcohol again for prohibition and gave the states the right to mandate regulations how they see fit.

@crazyeddie @efoltin @passwordsarehard4 @georgetakei voting should require some form of ID the type and extent is what is being changed and in such a way as to - make any woman who has taken her husband’s name (and doesn’t have a birth certificate) unable to vote
- to insist that only federal identification certificates (passport) will be accepted -

- to insist that only federal identification certificates (passport) will be accepted@Rickd6 @crazyeddie @efoltin @georgetakei I disagree with that wholeheartedly. There’s no reason an ID should be required. I can prove it’s me by confirming the information on file. What about mail in votes, there’s no way to check an ID there do you think those should be illegal?

@efoltin @crazyeddie @passwordsarehard4 @georgetakei not at all but where I live voting requires some form of government ID or the voters card they send, mail in requires a second signature. I am very much against the proposed changes and see them as voter suppression.
