As tomorrow is a public holiday here, this weeks update on Diesel, an ORM and query builder for Rust, happens today.

The news of the week is the release of Diesel 2.3.9 and Diesel-async 0.9. The Diesel release fixes various smaller issues introduced with the 2.3.8 release. The Diesel-async release brings proper support for async closures for AsyncConnection::transaction and also fixes a similar unsoundness issue in the Mysql backend as last weeks Diesel release.
