Well if this doesn't sum things up for the current #MAGA #GOP: A #Republican #Oklahoma state representative resigned after pleading guilty to domestic violence charges, so there was a special election.
You can spare yourself clicking this link and looking at the MAGA neckbeard who won. The point is it's a Trump +58 district and the neckbeard only won by 29 points. It was the best performance for the Dems since 2008.

After polls closed Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, Dillon Travis was elected in HD 35 to succeed former Oklahoma Rep. Ty Burns.
