Big day.

Big day.
It's a tossup between Labour, Greens, and Reform in the byelection.
Impossible to predict but I'm hopeful Labour take it (or hold it, depending on how you view things) rather than losing to the populists.
That said, if Reform win, it'll only be off the back of the vote being split. I take solace that most folks in the constituency don't want Reform — even if they may get foisted on them anyway.

Results are expected around 4am btw — and yes, I will be setting an alarm for it.

Labour whip here on Green and Reform populism.
I don't disagree, particularly a day after the Greens pledged to leave NATO and found a new military alliance with Mexico and Brazil to counteract "American imperialism".

It's still impossible to predict the result. We may get some indication after 10pm, but I doubt we'll know the result much before 4am.
Byelection days are chaotic with tons of spin and rumours confusing the discourse, so take this from The Sun's political editor with a pinch of salt.
