@blinry Great photos and view! BTW I forget, what's the geological term for steps that naturally form up a mountain, sometimes with handrails? -
@blinry they probably look confused because Shenzhen doesn't have a lot of white people, let alone white people who bother learning any Chinese. Could you attempt to romanize what they say back to you? I speak a bit and my wife speaks more (we currently live in China for work) so I might be able to tell you what they're saying.

Now down again! Having luck with the season, a lot of blooming Rhododendron bushes.
My report was cut short by the chaos.social outage today, but I had a nice (but exhausting) hike down on the other side of the mountain!
A bit below the top, there was a little convenience store, and numerous drink vending machines.
