What are everyone's 'must have' MacOS apps? What's the first thing you install with a new setup?
@andyn 1Password, VSCode (or your favorite text editor), Raycast, Chrome, Keyboard Maestro, Obsidian. (In that order)

I use this everywhere, so a 3-finger swipe quickly jumps between 2 apps you are using in Stage Manager.
I use a 3-finger tap to close browser tabs or images that popup in Ivory or Discord etcSuch a time saver.

@andyn Just did this with my new Air.
In order: Obsidian, Menu Bar Spacing, CleanupBuddy, Alfred, Arc (or Zen), Things, Spark, Audio Hijack, Fantastical, iA Writer, Ulysses (actually first but only because it’s where I write the novels)

@andyn Bear is a lovely notes app. Why Bear? Because I don’t like Apple Notes, and in my opinion, the Obsidian mobile app is terrible. Unfortunately, there is no Bear for Android.
@tekphloyd @andyn By all means like what you like, but I’ve found Obsidian mobile to be much improved since the early days, especially in the last year or so. Might be my most improved app period. Maybe give it a look if it’s been awhile.
Or ignore. All good.

@pauls @Ronnie @tekphloyd I've moved note taking apps far too many times and lost notes so it's Obsidian all the way now!

@andyn well... Tap Forms Database Pro because it's my only source of income
But also Pastebot and Lucifer. And Apple Music (gotta listen to music while programming). And Helm.
