I didn't know about this anti-competetive thing. Here's an example from close to home: the ValueMart (Loblaws-owned) at Woodbine & Danforth in #Toronto. It covers 5 subway stops!

"This Lease agreement prevents anyone from selling groceries on the territory of a shopping block while the Valu-Mart is in operation.

… this one lease also blocks the Landlord from leasing property to any other grocer within a 2 Kilometre radius of the shopping centre."
