La meritocrazia è un concetto fragile: funziona solo se tutti partono dallo stesso punto, con gli stessi strumenti, le stesse opportunità, la stessa libertà di sbagliare. E questo in Italia semplicemente non accade. Non accade nello sport, non accade nel lavoro, in politica. Non accade per le donne
The “strength” of women at the Games is survival: behind those who made it, many could not experience it.
Meritocracy is a fragile concept: it only works if everyone starts from the same point, with the same tools, the same opportunities, the same freedom to make mistakes. And this simply doesn't happen in Italy. It doesn't happen in sports, it doesn't happen in work, in politics. It doesn't happen for women.
