    Like all good nerds, I generate a unique email address for every service I sign up to. This has several advantages - it allows me to see if a message is legitimately from a service, if a service is hacked the hackers can't go credential stuffing, and I instantly know who leaked my address.

      Well, as BrowserStack was selling their customer information to Okta last year, who then sold it to a bunch of infostealers by accident...

      I'm gonna guess this time around, they're selling to LinkedIn.

        @Edent One of the ones I dislike were browser add-ons that basically scraped your email every time you filled in a field on a page labeled "email" and sent that along to a data broker.

            @Edent Apollo's lying response in the first instance is also totally unacceptable. Send them to the ICO.
