I really like that phrase, it captures something important and 'human-sized' in the midst of all the terrible news. I'll be borrowing that phrase, please and tak

It doesn't mean we're oblivious to the horrors going on around us or insensitive to those, just that we're human and we also need to take care of ourselves and each other in a small, close and near way, if that makes sense

I sometimes feel really silly for sharing those little things that make me excited, but at the same time it's a really big part of who I am, and it makes me real, well, excited, that others feel the same way 🥳
It certainly makes me wanna do it more 🫶 !

I am not ignoring it or untouched by it. I am just right now reacting to the overwhelmingness of it all by tooting about something insignificant and harmless and maybe even nice.
This thought springs from the fact that I just hesitated to share this random call to dance as a Silent Sunday photo because it seemed too frivolous.
@CiaraNi At any moment in time, there are horrible things happening somewhere in the world. But there are also beautiful, inspiring things happening in every moment too. To stop spreading the beautiful would be to concede to the horrible. Don’t do that, and don’t criticize those spreading joy, beauty, and hopefulness either.

These are the healthy nourishing things that keep us fed to cope with each day. Don't stop offering them just because the world is awash with poison. In fact, being surrounded by poison is why we need this kind of goodness even more. -
