I was going to post a "Chronic pain scale", but all of them are just comparisons between the normal pain scale, and chronic pain.

"Normal" for chronic pain seems to sit around a 7 on the non-chronic pain scale, which really tracks.
This isn't the best (I wouldn't put 7 at "unimaginable", but I suffer from chronic pain):
