Weights and measures don't come under the authority of police services. Enforcement would be by weights and measures or perhaps the same people who identify foods which we need to be warned about.
In order for it to be a police matter someone would have to accuse those stores with a criminal violation, maybe fraud. And it would be very difficult to prove intention rather than error… -
