Went for a couple of months from Germany to the U.S.A. in the early 1990's, and was shown the results of U.S. politics - homelessness, poverty, injustice of the society. Well, saw it, and remember it. No need to visit the U.S.A. ever again... All the best to the decent U.S. citizens!

Being in control isn't one directional, it's about every direction all at once, and when there's a built-in byproduct in some 'new rule' to guarantee even more control, they'll use it, exploit it, and look for another dozen offshoots to cement even more control.

I feel for anyone in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, which make up ~ 10M jobs and ~ 3 percent of the nation's GDP. From the U.S. International Trade Administration (trade.gov)

@briankrebs Apart from tourism, this is completely counter to GDPR, and any international company that has operations in the US is not going to send employees over. They may reconsider investing in the US. This is so short-sighted and heavy handed, typical of this "Administration".
