@veroandi @Vivaldi @Bassel1000 you could say the same for translation services, yet Vivaldi includes one right in the browser so people won’t use Google Translate.

Which is good. Because we can trust Vivaldi that their service is privacy-focused. But when a service is not provided by Vivaldi, people will have to find alternatives.

Some of us know about Duck AI or Euria by Infomaniak, but many others will just open ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.

This is a loss for privacy.

@Vivaldi as a person who always recommends Vivaldi to friends wanting a better browser, I am wonder if the AI-hating niche is a good target for spreading Vivaldi to as many users as possible.

I remember when you announced that Vivaldi would bypass the browser checks on Bing Copilot, that was very welcome news. More choice for people is always a good thing.
