Warning most Canadians will be offended by my comment:Canadian politicians:
"We can afford to build more pipelines, simply pass along the cost to taxpayers after all they never protest -- the majority of Canadians leave environmental protests to Indigenous peoples and when the First Nations folk are jailed most Canadians ignore the problem".

@NMBA I will be disappointed if we don't see some BC folks pointing out that they will have *easily* spent 60 million on car roads over the next few years, so "it's too expensive to fix" is utter B.S.

Our car based society views roads as a necessity and bike routes as a luxury while ignoring the positive safety, health and environmental externalities of biking.
