@sean_ae @qebo Used to be something like 20 Euros for an A500. A1200 is even worse, I'm pretty sure there are still tons of them around in Europe.

@sean_ae @Rushup_Dee Oooh, white was good on them. πŸ‘Œ I had a generic purple one.

100% agreed it was peak Nintendo era. Advance Wars, Golden Sun, Metroid Prime...my days. πŸ”₯

They got rather "seeker friendly" after that.

How about this creature? I love how it's see-through, like an animatronic. I also have a yellow GB Color which dramatically ran out of battery mid set the other Friday playing LSDJ on a boat πŸ˜„ well, alongside two other instruments (phew!)

@sean_ae @elifyalvac @Rushup_Dee On '16 Bits of Heaven' I wasn't into drums in that period and it was fairly true to the chips on the whole / not "loud" - have wanted to do a souped-up more hyped drummier version for a while (though am happy with the original for what it is.) πŸ™‚

@Cognessence @elifyalvac @Rushup_Dee yeah I marginally prefer the original tbh but I like this a lot as well

Esp all the extra trills and whatnot, very turbocharged

@sean_ae @elifyalvac @Rushup_Dee I'm genuinely really glad you prefer the original; I do too - feels more personal and dynamic.

But it is fun to go mainframe and turbocharged once in a while. πŸ˜„
