    For my #Rust projects, I’ve finally migrated from #RustRover to @zed.

    RR is a great IDE, but it feels much too bloated for me. #Zed, on the other hand, is a pleasure to use. So smooth!

    Here’s my current config including a beautiful theme based on monokai-pro https://github.com/0xdea/dotfiles/tree/main/zed/.config/zed

      @raptor remote dev sounds really useful for xplatform dev too, RR had trouble with that!

        @raptor @zed yeah I think JetBrains is losing it all. Their refactoring tools are still mostly unmatched, but those are worthless if their IDE keeps freezing, crashing, and breaking core functionality with almost every release. Zed is pretty good, and so is gram https://gram.liten.app

            @buherator I suppose it’s because they are Atom’s authors so after A they picked Z but I don’t really know 🤷‍♂️

                @vala yeah I still use neovim for everything and I love it. I just prefer a gui for rust dev
