    You can build an offline Flatpak repository on a USB drive.

    "pssst. hey kid. wanna flatpak?" pulls usb drive out of coat.

        My guess is that it's an option for people living in places with slow internet or for those who want to backup specific versions of apps.

        But I like the idea that it's to be distributed like contraband more so I'll believe that in my heart.
