      @Sonikku I *almost* caved and bought an FDS just for Zelda, but thankfully they later released a cart version 😊

            @voxel @Sonikku The FDS version is great! I have the FDS versions of both Z1 and Z2 (as well as the NES versions). It's not as different as Z2 is between FDS and NES but Z1 still has a lot of neat little differences (even between the famicom cart version there's some differences in sprites, names, etc, but the music and SFX on the FDS is different as well, it's like getting an extended soundtrack)

              @voxel @Sonikku Z2 has a load of differences between FDS and nes though, the FDS damn near feels like a beta version in comparison (though it just like z1 has a expanded sountrack beyond what the cartridge versions got, i like that the FDS battle1 theme got reused for later zelda games (it's the minish cap miniboss theme))

              The FDS soundtracks of both games are great if you've never heard the difference!
